The Accountability Factor!
Do you pile up excuses for why you do not have “this or that” in place for your business? Is it possible you’re getting in your own way? Here are some simple suggestions for holding yourself accountable so you can move more quickly toward the success you’re seeking.
Plan the time to plan your time.
As soon as you make a commitment, schedule the time into your calendar.
Set milestones and break things down into smaller chunks.
Spend money to reach goals. You’ll be more likely to accomplish them.
Write down the action you want to take as this makes your intention more concrete. Stick it on your desk or in your planner.
Post a commitment to yourself on your favorite social media platform. There is no hiding from your friends on Instagram or Facebook.
Make it a ritual. This is one of the best ways to establish a new habit.
Holding ourselves accountable is one of the most challenging things we can do. Why? Because we can talk ourselves out of anything.
Accountability is such a huge part of business, especially when you are the sole owner. It’s important to find some way to help hold yourself accountable. When you do this, you’ll move forward faster than you imagined possible. This is why I included a digital community for my eCourse participants. This is an aspect of the course that allows you to get an accountability buddy, share your experiences, ask questions and engage in social learning that goes beyond the course curriculum.
